Zhao crosses paths with Cheng Yin, a young Taoist who has sworn to destroy all matches made by "evil matchmakers" after his senior brother's tragic death. The two clash at every turn, challenging each other on every match they make. Over time, Cheng's feelings for Zhao grow without him even realizing—until her "first love," Cao Sui, returns.
