Instructor Jiang Zhen from the "Gale Training Camp" goes undercover in the Amethyst Group to investigate a fatal accident caused by a self-driving car, following the death of his younger sister Xiaotong. During the mission, he crosses paths with his former partner and now sworn enemy Bai Fan. Despite the initial suspicion, the two eventually join forces to uncover the truth behind the car accident years ago. They also discover evidence of the Amethyst Group's crimes involving brain-computer interface technology. Later, together with Nong Qianya, who also suffered persecution at the hands of the Nong family, they destroy the conspiracy of Amethyst Group's chairman, Nong Cangqin, in one go.
