After 20 years in prison, Innokenty Bochkin is released on an unfair sentence. He is trying to reunite with his grown-up daughter Nastya, who was raised by police lieutenant colonel Vasily Tuchkov, who was forced to resign for refusing to participate in fraud. With the help of fun adventures, Bochkin manages not only to settle in Tuchkov's house, but also to have an affair with his sister Maria. Now Nastya and her two fathers are in for a lot of adventures, because by the will of circumstances Bochkin is forced, by order of the "authority", to steal the painting from the official, who, having learned about this, by all means available to him, tries to send him back to prison before he commits the theft.
